Pack like this and you will not forget a thing
It helps to pack in order of "what hurts most to forget." Start with essentials you cannot travel without — passport, tickets, wallet, phone — then electronics like chargers and adapters, then toiletries and clothing, and finally medications and convenience items.
| Category | Key items |
|---|---|
| Essentials | Passport, wallet/cards, cash, phone, tickets |
| Electronics | Charger, power bank, international plug adapter, earphones |
| Toiletries/hygiene | Toothbrush/paste, face & body wash, sunscreen, cosmetics |
| Clothing | Underwear/socks, tops & bottoms, outerwear, sleepwear, shoes |
| Documents/finance | Travel insurance, booking confirmations, emergency contacts, international driving permit |
| Medications/other | Basic meds, masks, wet wipes, umbrella, power strip |
Carry-on warnings — Power banks and lighters cannot go in checked baggage and must be carried in the cabin. Conversely, liquids and gels over 100ml and sharp objects such as knives and scissors are restricted from the cabin and must go in checked baggage. Re-check your airline's rules before departure.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Is my checklist state saved?
Your checked state stays only in the browser tab you are currently viewing and is never sent to or stored on a server. Refreshing the page resets it. To protect your privacy, we do not collect your inputs.
What are the must-have items for international travel?
A passport (valid for at least 6 months), flight tickets and booking confirmations, credit cards and cash (local currency), phone and charger plus a power bank, an international plug adapter, basic medications, and proof of travel insurance are international travel essentials. They are organized in the Essentials and Documents categories of this checklist.
How do I split carry-on and checked baggage?
Always carry your passport, wallet, phone, power bank, medications, and valuables in the cabin. Power banks and lighters cannot go in checked baggage. Liquids over 100ml must go in checked baggage, and sharp objects such as knives and scissors are checked-only.
Can I add items or print the list?
This checklist comes pre-filled with representative items per category, so it is ready to use right away. You can print the list using your browser (Ctrl+P / Cmd+P), and ads and the menu are hidden automatically when printing.
